Palletizer System

What is palletizer? A palletizer is a machine that gives programmed intends to arranging, moving, and stacking instances of merchandise or items onto a bed, as a rule toward the finish of an assembling line. Programmed palletizing is useful for helpful, high-volume dispatching. Palletizers give load security, accuracy, and activity speed. They additionally make it conceivable to move more loads without a moment’s delay.

What is a palletizer?

To go into details about the packaging industry, we must know what a palletizer is. With the help of a palletizer, you can easily sort the products and transfer them automatically. It is also an automatic way of stacking the cases of different products on a pallet.

Keep in mind that palletization has many benefits, and the most convenient is automatic palletization. It is beneficial in high-volume shipping and gives more load stability. Palletizer also aids in providing more precision and operating speed. The most surprising thing about palletization is that it is possible to move several loads at once.

In Manual placing, it is sometimes difficult to place the boxes on pallets. Also, manual placing is time-consuming and expensive. During this process, there is even more stress on workers. To solve this time-consuming process, the manufacturers made a row forming machine in the early 1950s. This machine surprisingly put a neat row of products on the pallet.

With the development of robotics and computers, there were also significant enhancements in palletizing. The machine at that time could handle more work and had more control. With time, these machines were also able to handle a variety of products. These products may be bottles or cans, which are challenging to palletize by hand.

Palletizers Types

Usually, there are four types of palletizer: Low-level, high-level, in-line, and robotic palletizers.

  • Low level and high-level palletizers

Both these types usually work with conveyors that receive products. The only difference between a low-level and high-level palletizer is that products are loaded from the ground at a low level, whereas, at a high level, the products load from the above.

After loading the products, they arrive on the conveyors to move to and sort on the pallets. It depends on the manufacturers whether they what automatic or semi automatic palletization according to their requirements.

The good thing about both these types is that they are usually faster than the robotic palletizing process.

  • Robotic Palletizer

Robotic palletizers are also called robot palletizers, and they may be automatic or semi-automatic. The robotic palletizer consists of a robotic arm that carries the products and puts them onto a palette. This type of palletiser is usually found between the conveyor belt line and pallet dispenser.

On the conveyor belt,it carries the incoming products. Keep in mind that robotic palletizers will only work on one item at a time, but the best thing is that they are much faster than manual stacking. A robotic palletizer will, therefore, not cause any injury or fatigue.

  • In-line palletizer system

For the carriage of cartons and bags, inline palletizer is used and this system is also considered to be the efficient pelletizer system. One type of in-line palletizer is row stripper palletizers that organize a row and then push it to the side when the other row forms. The palletizer will make the row on top of the row until the pallet is complete. This pelletizer grabs and holds the items with the help of air-powered suction cups.

What affects the speed of Palletizers?

The speed of the palletizers also matters a lot while considering the pelletizer system. However, the main purpose of pelletizer system is to increase the process speed and make it more efficient.

The same was the case with the packaging industry. While designing the palletizers, it is necessary to know the product weight, product length, and product per layer.
